are you aware if the time clocking can be connected to the project activities, similar to what it is done for work orders (clocking based on operation number)? The company is working project based.

Time clock cannot clock directly into a project activity. It can report time reporting or shop floor reporting.
Typically, a foreman will be needed to distribute the project hours on project activates from the employee clocking's.
