How would time transactions and expense authorizations would work for top level management?

For ex. If on the position structure, CEO is at the top most position, who will have authoritise to approve time/absence/exense transactions for him/her being at the top level ?

Hi,

This is decided in the company policies and varies a lot… but very often it is the CFO that authorizes.

Some examples how this can be solved.

If the CEO is on a unique organization unit you can assign a role for authorization on that org unit  to the CFO in “Supervisor Access - Setup”.

Some companies also have a specific “CEO authorization position” and then you can assign this one to the person who shall authorize.

Regards,

Maria

Thank you for your response. I’ve a quick question, Could you please elaborate more in detail on below option ? as we do not wish to allocate a seperate user just for doing the authorization for top level.
