I want to know what scenario record will be created with Transaction Type: Temporary Absence on the 'Time Card: Day’ screen as shown above screenshot.

@sarpat : I have never seen any record with Transaction Type as “Temporary Absence”. Do you have single record with “Temporary Absence” or you have many records?

There are a lot of records with Transaction Type "Temporary Absence" on the PROD environment, but they are not replicable on the non-Prod environment.

@sarpat Have you verified with technical/ migration team, if it has been done through hard Insert in the view with this transaction type.

Thanks @vickyrohilya  for your help. The technical team customized the code that was causing the record to be created with temporary absence.
