Good day. How do you set up Access for the following:
Access for an Employee to a position “higher” up in Position hierarchy e.g Executive PA to have access to position of the Executive?
Access for the same Executive PA to Employees in the unit (Employees not reporting to her)?
Thank you.

@AnGo : 1) You can define the Position Access Set-up to “Executive PA” position with Access to Position ID as “Executive” Position, tick the flag ‘Include Access to Position ID’.
If you want to give access to all lower positions to ‘Executive’ position, then tick the flag ‘Include Access to Lower Positions’
When you want to give access to all employees in a department. User ‘Supervisor Access Set-up’ window. Select the org code and add the ‘Access Set-up’ with Include Subordinate Access as ticked.
Hope this will solve your purpose.
Thanks

Hi Vikas. Thank you for your feedback. Our problem lies in the Expense Admin domain. Even with setup as described above, if a User tries to Edit a Travel Request, they get the following error:
Any idea what is required to resolve this issue? Not sure what type of “Authorization” is required in order for the User to be able to modify a TR.
Thank you.
@AnGo : Please add necessary access role into Position/ Supervisor Access set-up. The role must have attribute ‘Travel Expense Authorization’
Thanks
Hello Vikas. Thank you for responding and assisting.
Just to check whether setup on my side is correct:
Access Role that we use in Position Access/Supervisor Access does have the Attribute mentioned:
This is the Access Attribute mentioned and it is Active:
Is there any additional Setup that is required?
Would Expense Attributes be applicable to Travel Request Options? I ask since our problem is on the Travel Request Option.
Thank you.

@AnGo : Pl check few more things:

Attributes
Link this attribute with Access Role.

@AnGo I would also confirm that you have an attribute level assigned to the EXPENSE_AUTH attribute within the role.
