Every night we run “Background Job” for “Batch_Schedule_Chain_API.Run_Batch_Schedule_Chain__” this produces some Warnings which we would like to clear. Two types mainly:
“Person <PERSON> has Use HR Schedule check box selected, but no employee is connected to the person.” - this is when Employee is no longer active, simple solution is to remove “Use HR Schedule” from “Resource Detail → Details”, another option is to set “End Date” to “Resource Detail → Capacity Basis”.
“Person <PERSON> has Use HR Schedule check box selected, but has no employment with a valid schedule.” - This is the warning we get when Employee Schedule have end date somewhere in the upcoming year (usually permanent employees have schedule with end date of 9999-12-31). For example we have employees with the fixed term employment ending later this year. What would be the common method to avoid this type of warning? Should we set schedule with 9999-12-31 end date and then just Terminate Employee when needed? We tried updating “Resource Detail” same way as we did for the no longer active employees but it did not help.
