Hi All,

It is noted that employee time card wage hours are duplicated. Eg Employee schedule is for 7.5 Hr, but in time card it is 15 . Hence when we try to edit the hours to 7.5 and save, we are getting below error message, This is relating to a absence.

Can anyone instruct to resolve this ? 

Absence reason is mandatory for employee to report absence and but we have not specified a default absence reason.

However in absence  window we can see employee absence relevant to this day is with a absence reason. But when we try to change the hours in time card  we are getting this error.

@nivslk : Please check the absence configuration and schedule set-up. I can see that Day Value is also showing as 2.

System is doing the validation when you are trying to modify the hours directly into ‘Employee Result’ screen. Absence Reason field is not available in Employee Result screen, but it is validating based on “TA Association” between Absence Type and Wage Code.

It is suggested to cancel the absence and re-apply after verifying the schedule and absence configuration.
