Are there any manuals or guide to know about Employee self service portal . how it works and what are the setups.

Hi @RutJWhalen  , there is no documentation or steps on how to do. @Thanushi Jayaweera  has given the overall summary. I need to know whether i need to purchase those components seperately and how to enable the access as i dont see those details in my navigation pane like employee expenses.

Permission Sets would be required to be created for the web components 

e.g. HR_SELF_SERVICES

        LTU_HR_SELF_SERVICE

 

Under Human Resources do you have the following Employee Self-Service folder:

 

Each of the areas would normally have been already set up.

There are also pre-requisites for each of the Self-Service areas.

e.g.  

Time & Attendance Pre-Requisites - The following Basic Data would be required:

  • Position Codes
  • Organization Codes
  • Wage Codes
  • Work Hour Rules
  • Working Hours Schedules
  • Employees
 

In the meantime, I will aim to find out whether this is an extra?
