Hello

As many of you know this upcoming weekend the (Daylight saving time) DST observation ends and clocks will be turned one hour backwards. This present a unique challenge for us in one of the sites where we have nightshift running from 10:00PM Sat to 06:00AM Sun.

From little information I found I understand that the time change will happen automatically in DB at 02:00AM on Sunday.

My questions:

  • Do currently active IFS applications instantly will get their clocks updated, and how does it affect employee attendance clockings, should they leave work at 05:00AM (based on the changed time)? In that case do we simply update the attendance results to complete their scheduled hours?
  • How would ongoing operation be affected, for example if operation is started at 01:45AM and would finish in 30 minutes , at 02:00AM clock is updated and operation is then finished at 01:15AM because of the changed time?
  • Any other behaviors you have observed during the DST observation end?
