Hi all,

 

When I want to create a part from Configuration via Create Standard Part From Configuration menu in edit configuration page, I get an error message at the end of the steps (3rd part with Optional Part Information to Copy):

"Unable to create components: Action Set, Component part .015 is not a valid inventory part."

I have checked all the components but could not detect any point causing the error message.

What could be the cause of the error?

Is it possible you have entered the qty in the part number field?

First of all thanks. Could you share the screenshot of the qty you mentioned, please?

Unless you have a part number ‘.015’, this appears to be a qty rather than an actual part number.   Find the field with .015 in it and replace that with an actual part number.
