Hi all,

 

Noticing something odd when trying to schedule an SQL quick report in IFS cloud. (24R1) (24.1.2)

When scheduling an SQL quick report as any non administrative user, everything other than the parameters are unchangeable from their default values.

 

After entering the quick report parameters, The Schedule, Schedule options, and archive options can’t be changed, but the user is still able to create the schedule. In the below image, I can not change the schedule name, or the recurrence pattern at all 

On the next page, I can’t change the language code, select the report cue, or send the stream notification. And so on with the archive options.

 

I am able to finish scheduling the reports with the defaults, and the report shows up in the scheduled reports.

 

This doesn’t occur with operational reports, which allow the user to modify the recurrence pattern as expected.

 

Has anyone resolved this issue? We would like to give our users the ability to schedule their own reports as opposed to having to administer this.

I was grappling with the above for at least 45 minutes but after logging out and logging back in again its working as expected . . . Typical that asking for help is the magic trick =)

 

Will keep an eye on this though, and if anyone has any insights into why that might have occurred please still share for future knowledge.
