I am working on customizing the IFS navigation for certain users via Navigation Designer in IFS Cloud 23.1.3. I understand how to add items, and some of the limitations such as not creating top-level items, but I’m confused about how the children of “Menu” items are sorted.
Dragging-and-dropping the items doesn’t adjust the sort order. At first the items seemed to be listed in the order in which they were created, which would be quite cumbersome, but manageable.
Then I saved the navigation, and the items changed sort order, and I don’t see any logic to the sorting at all. It’s not alphabetical, it’s not by the order added, it just looks random.
How do you manage the sort order of items in the navigation?
