Greetings, IFS community.

 

There is a log directory under the PrintAgent directory, in which several printeagent numbers are listed.

Could you please explain what all the print agent numbers from 0 to 9 mean?

I was wondering if, for example, printagent.2 refers to a specific printer? 

Is the printagent.2 associated with a group of printers?

Is there a way to determine which printer is part of printagent.2?

I don’t remember all of the triggers, but that essentially is a rolling log.  For instance if you restart the server it will create a new log.  It increments the number of the log file every time it restarts so that an individual log does not get to big.  It does means though that the log can roll enough times to delete some data.
