Hello,

I would like to automatically pre-fill the value of the "PartNo" field in the part screen via BPA :
So I created this very simple workflow:

Which is triggered when you click on the "+" :

However, nothing happens when you click on it.
However, if I try to pre-fill the field next to "Description", there's no problem:

I have the impression that the "PartNo" field poses a problem because it's the primary key?
Is this the case? Is there a solution?

Thanks for your help,
Théo

This looks interesting. Let us in RnD look into it and get back.

Thank you @Lahirumala de Mel
This is a problem that is blocking us for a customer... thanks for your help.

Value for “Part No” is not set because it is marked as a non-updatable field(In this case field is a key. So it is marked as non-updatable). Process enrichment skips enriching fields that are not updatable.

Hi @Buddhi Gunasekara

Thank you for your reply.
What I don't understand is that we only act in the context of creating the registration?
Isn't there a solution to this?

Thank you very much!

Sorry. At the moment there’s no solution. Workflow doesn’t consider context when non-updatable attribute is encountered.

a customer asked me this question: do you have a feasibility date for future versions?

Please log a support case for this. Then RnD can analyse the issue in technical level and get back.

Hello @Lahirumala de Mel Should we raise a ticket or an idea for that ?

Idea is the correct way actually.
