When a new customer environment is created, it starts with an “empty” database. Except, the database is not empty, because there are all kind of default settings, parameters, and basic data (like languages, Unit of measure etc.) already delivered. Is there any documentation on the content of a new database?
Hi
When you do a fresh deployment of an IFS instance, it would definitely not be an “empty” database per say as the installation process setup up all data that is needed to make the instance usable. You generally don’t find specific documentation on the exact data that is populated but you can certainly refer too the the help in pages where you see such data to figure out what they are used for in most cases. The core data that you see is only part of what takes place as part of initial deployment as there are plenty of other things that happen in the DB layer like setting up permissions and contexts which are required for the IFS instances to work.
Cheers
