How to retain the values of a step before going to Previous step

Hi all,

I wanted to know about how to keep the values we entered on a certain step of an assistant, before going to the previous step.

Below are the steps to reproduce the issue I currently have.

1. In the Master Part step, values are entered and click Next.

2. Comm Group value is entered in the Inventory Part step and click on Previous to go back to Master Part step.

3. Then, once again, click Next and come back to Inventory Part.

Expected result : To see the Comm Group value that was selected previously.

Actual result : The value is empty

Is there any recommended way we could follow to keep the values entered as it is even after going back to previous step and come back?
