Hi All

We are upgrading from Apps9 to Apps10. We have around 400 users globally with roughly max of 250 at any point in time.

With Apps9 we have a clustered Application server of two nodes, each node runs two managed servers (and a Admin server and http server), so that is four ManagedServers in total.

For simplicity, we have decided to move away from the clustered setup. I am interested in anyone who has a Apps10 single node setup. How many ManagedServers run on your single node Application Server?

Thanks

Mike

Hi @MikeArbon,

In our Managed Cloud environments, I have seen at least 4 Managed Servers for each installation on the same VM (2 Main Servers and 2 Integration Servers). The number of Managed Servers you can have on one machine would depend on the resource limits of the machine for the most part.

There are some sizing papers available for IFSAPP10 which would help you decide the server specifications required based on various constraints, such as the number of users or the client type(Aurena/IEE). You can open a case and request them or request from your project manager at IFS.

Hope this helps and hope other customers/partners would share their experiences as well, in this regard.
