We have some users that rarely need to log into IFS only to approve.

Is there an event I can enable to send stream notifications out by email?

Hi Bruce,

 

You should look at creating an event on the LU FndStream and FND_STREAM_TAB. You should then be able to create an email action on the back of this to send the notification to the correct user.

What is it that needs approval?

The app IFS Notify Me can handle a variety of approval scenarios.

Sending stream notifications by eMail? I can’t follow what that would look like. Streams are only available in side IFS Applications. 

I think that the advice that Tommy gave is the best answer.
