Hi,

we want to set up our own GIS system to be indepent from ESRI, maybe with geoserver.

Does anyone tried it yet?

In all documentation I can only read about configurations using ESRI ArchGIS but no other open GIS system.

Maybe it is possible only with ESRI?

Hello @Mathias Dahl. I’m asking myself the same question. I would have thought it would work for any GIS application exposing layers through a webservice. Am I right ?

Our GIS integration in IFS only works with Esri. It's because we use their JavaScript APIs to build the solution.

There are other solutions that can handle multiple map providers (possibly with limitations) but we don't use those in our solution.
