Hi,

We are preparing new permission sets for a global setup with different companies and sites in same database and we have just realized that we need some users or group of users to have ‘full’ control in some projections at one company but only ‘read’ in the same modules at another company.

How can we manage this kind of control/permission setup? What I know, the permission set applies for all companies and sites, is it possible to divide the permission rights per company/site?

If YES, how to do it?

If this were possible I’d love to know how, but I think no will be the answer.

Once you assign a site/company to a user they will get the same permissions on granted projections for all sites/companies granted to that user. We faced the same issue recently for something similar.

You could try creating quick reports for information where you only want to give read only permission. 

But depending on your business scenario this might not be applicable. But for my customer we just needed a temporary solution till we go Live on regional companies.
