Hi,

Is there a possibility or workaround we can add a default where in a custom page. Requirement is dynamically change the set of data appear in a custom page according to the login user.

Thanks and regards,

djay

Hi Djay

The way to work this out  is trial and more trials.  Presenting an option that I think may work

  1. use the custom page as a TAB in one of the primary screens related to the process.
  2. Fetch the default value (s)  on a custom field.
  3. Use the above custom field as a link between the top page and the custom tab ( your custom page).
  4. if you populate the top page, then the custom tab will display data as per the Default value in the field
  5. To be creative, you can still Set the top page, to run the query (saved query) by default, so that user does not have to fetch his defaults first. Also do not display these defaults, if you feel so . Thus making the user feel it is the custom tab.

Regards

Vivek

Hi @djay ,

You can do this by creating a base profile and assign to users.

  • Method 1: To add default where, please follow the below post and proceed steps in the base profile.

  • Method 2: Create a save search using your where statement under a base profile. Then assign the base profile to users.
