Cloud 22R1 and a few months into using IFS, coming from a 30 year old ERP.

We are setting up email notifications for approval routings, and as I have seen on the forums from previous versions, we have the same issue that the standard event action for approval routing email does not give the first person on the approval routing a notification when dealing with Approval Routings on entities that are not Documents, we are using this on Change Order and Change Requests.

Using threads I found on here from older IFS versions, I had been able to create a custom event and event action that got us most of the way there, but our test environment of IFS got refreshed and I am attempting to rebuild what I had, and am not having success, so I know I am missing a step somewhere

According to my notes, I had created a custom event for ApprovalRouting to fire when when Changed or Created, and then I had a custom event for that. Attempts to replicate this have resulted in no notifications from the new event.

Has anyone else created a custom event for Cloud to give approval emails for non-document approval routings and can share what they did?
