Hi all,

 

I’m after a generic method of automatically calculating all standard KPI definitions below. There are 249 definitions in the standard.

 

The documentation says to create and connect a workflow in order to calculate the KPI value. There are only about a dozen sample ones.

My question is, is IFS asking to create 200+ workflows just to calculate the KPIs? How practical is it - and why is the KPI calculation made cumbersome?

Also, isn’t there a generic method to update them?

 

@athasanka agree with you. It seems a bit much to create a WF for each KPI measure. It would have been good if IFS would have at least provided a WF for each KPI Definition then setting up automatic calculation of the KPI would have been much easier.

On the other hand, the ability to use workflows with KPI measures means you can define your own specific KPI (if the 249 provided out of the box don’t fit your needs) and calculate it using any data from IFS Cloud.

I’m curios if there’s any customer that’s using the KPIs with Workflows aroundhere.
