We are on App10 UPD 10. The question is not only for finance, it is valid all functions in the application.
In Aurena when you run a query the list of result is filtered and only show the first 20-25 rows. To see more we have to scroll down select see more, and do that over and over again.
How can we get Aurena to show all results in one go instead?

Hi @Leif
As per the available information, currently there isn’t an option to show all records at once or to increase the number of records that are populated when clicking show more in Aurena.
It might be available in future releases, since this is already available on the idea wall.
Kind Regards,
Dismanthi
Hi Leif,
Only the first few records are fetched and displayed as for some windows there might be thousands of records and fetching all these records to display will have a huge performance impact. Hence only a few records are shown initially and morerecords are fetched when scrolling.
The reason IFS has introduced dynamic loading by framework design across the system is to improve performance. If all rows/columns are loaded initially, there will be a significant delay in loading the table.
Thanks & best regards,
Buddhika
Thank you all for quick replies!
But I need an alternative way of working similar to the options available in IE interface. Where it is also a performance issue if I execute a bad query that renders in thousands of hits.
But performance will be extremely low in the end users perspective when we need to scroll and click show more, scroll and click show more, sc… before we have the full picture that we are querying for.
This goes for our purchasers, customer order coordinators, finance users and so on.
What are the alternatives?
@Leif ,
Unfortunately there is no workaround available for this issue at the moment. This is a common requirement raised by multiple IFS Customers and RnD has already confirmed that they would prioritize the developments in future releases.
One suggestion would be limiting the records as much as possible using ‘Filter Fields’.
Best Regards,
Sachin
Hi @Leif,
As mentioned above and specifically by the post mentioned by Himasha, this is the current behavior of the Aurena application (even the latest version) and RnD has mentioned future corrections will be available in IFS Cloud versions.
Therefore as a next step for you, you can either report this to your development party/IFS Consulting for a possible customization - if it is feasible to do so - or contact IFS Support to get it reported to RnD and perhaps get it officially recorded as a future development - as An Idea.
Because since this is a framework scenario, there is a chance that the modificationmight become a big development.
Agree with @Leif , one of the many very poor design features of Aurena that prevents considering an upgrade. Why would you want a system that can retrieve several hundred records quickly only to have to manually scroll and click over and over to see the records? A source of significant aggravation and repetitive stress injury in our evaluation of Aurena and one of the long list of reasons we won’t upgrade to V10 at all. We can only consider IFS Cloud 21R2 when it is released and only then if more of these problem areas are fixed. It essentially ruins the user experience with an upgrade as it is seen as a large productivity step backwards. If it affects performance that much, then the underlying design is the issue. Using a filter to find fewer records isn’t a solution if the intent is to find and review 200+ records.
Hi @Leif ,
This functionality is currently not available in IFS Aurena as it has been designed to show 24 records to optimize the performance. However, we understand the concerns you have as IEE shows more than 24 records when it is populated.
Therefore, in order to proceed at this moment since this functionality is not available in the latest Aurena you have the option to contact IFS Consultancy to check the possibility to get this done as a customization.
I have just reported it as an ‘Idea’ to RnD to be considered in future releases. Hope the issue would be resolved in the future releases. Thanks for letting us know the concerns with it.
@ShawnBerk thank you for your input as well.
Hope this helps you resolve your issue
Best Regards, Thanushi
Hi All,
To add this into future ideas for IFS Cloud is good and it must be developed for IFS App 10 Aurena as well.
The IFS App 10 Aurena release will be supported for many years (2028)and still, most customer project select IFS 10 for the release before IFS Cloud as the IEE client works better in many processes.
best regards
Anders
Any news from R&D on this topic? Is it solved in 21R2 or on the roadmap for R22R1?
It is extremely annoying and like others wrote, yet another reason not to use Aurena (among many others )
Go to this post and upvote, the only way to fix this is to complain loudly to IFS.
They seem to not understand using a system with actual data and large numbers of records is a vital component of an ERP system.
