Hi, I’m still fairly new in IFS and doing VAT Return. I need to reconcile Tax Proposal vs Tax Transactions. I need to understand what the difference between the 2 is so as to understand why they do not always match, thanks

tax transactions are the prerequisite of every tax proposal. In tax proposal itself you can define which tax codes should be included, which report layout and format should be used (normally country specific) etc. it’s quite complex for an answer in this forum. I would recommend you have a look at IFS Online Documentation chapter 2.15.5. “Create Tax Report”, there you can see all necessary steps. Just go to menu “Automatic Tax Proposal” and press F1.
