There is a requirement from customer for QR Code scanning (with multiple fields for example, Part ID, Serial Number, Box Number, Condition Code) and when scanned the value to be added in the receiving record or just extract the serial number and add it in usage considering parts can have the QR Code on them which are used by Technicians while entering the usage.
Is that supported in IFS FSM? if yes, how does it work please?

As of yet, FSM doesn't support the functionality you've requested. Currently the Barcode/QR code scanning option is provided for the serial ID field and all the available info will be populated only in the serial ID field, which it was scanned on.
However, you can raise this requirement to RnD as an enhancement request via below;

Wouldn't you be able to solve this via a config? By scanning the QR and retrieving stored information like Serial. Based on that Serial you'd do a query in your database and fetch the rest of the values and create usages in that script as well if you would want that.
