Hi @MonaL ,
here are some explanations. Hope these help.
Best regards

Calculated:
This field shows the cash account balance in mixed payment currency( i.e. the currency specified in Mixed Payment/General tab). It is recalculated as the opening balance on the payment date using the currency rate specified in the Mixed Payment/General tab plus summary of all included transactions.
This is primarily intended for reconciling actual opening balance to the statement of account from the payment institution. For example, if a statement of account has been mislaid, the calculated balance will not match the actual opening balance.
Actual Opening:
The opening balance of the cash account as per the statement of account from the payment institute. This is entered manually and in mixed payment currency (i.e. the currency specified in the Mixed Payment/General tab). If no value is entered, the system automatically calculates and displays the opening balance of the cash account after payment approval.
Actual Closing:
The closing balance of the cash account as per the statement of account from the payment institute. This is entered manually and in mixed payment currency (i.e. the currency specified in the Mixed Payment/General tab). If no value is entered, the system automatically calculates and displays the closing balance of the cash account after payment approval.
Thank You,
Actual Closing: 14570843.78
Actual Opening: 9570843.78
Difference: 50000.00 movements due
Calculated: 5638192.80
calculated shows 5638192.80 (which according to the explanation is the Actual Closing plus summary of transactions)
in this case means: 5624192.80 + 14000.00 = 5638192.80
whereby calculated should be 14570843.78

Any idea?
Hi @MonaL,
the calculated field serves two purposes.
First one: Before entering and approving any transactions you can compare the calculated balance with the actual opening balance which is coming from your bank statement.
If the calculated balance is not equal to the opening balance from your bank statement it shows that either some bank statements have not been registered and approved through mixed payment or some postings have not been made through mixed payment but on the balance sheet accounts.
Second one: After entering and approving the transactions the approved transactions will be added to the calculated opening balance. If your opening balance was correct the calculated balance plus summary of all included (approved) transactions should be equal to the actual closing balance.
This gives you the possibility to recognize any missing or additional transaction amounts if the calculated balance is not equal to the closing.
In your case there is a huge difference about 893,265.10 between calculated and actual closing.
As mentioned this can occur because some bank statements have not been registered and approved through mixed payment or some postings have not been made through mixed payment but on the balance sheet accounts (through a voucher entry).
