We are trying to streamline our entries of supplier invoices, is there a way using standard configuration to populate the account, department, business segment & dollar amounts on a posting proposal?  This would be only for non-PO invoices.  So for example, lets say we have a supplier XYZ and for all non-PO invoices we always want to charge account = 7500, Dept = 451, Bus Segment = 1 & the dollar amounts = the gross amount on the invoice.

So the posting information would automatically populate the information above when the posting proposal and posting information is created.  

 

Is there a way to do this?

Have you tried using the posting template??  If you create a posting template -- then in the posting proposal you can RMB and use the posting template

 


Another option is to define pseudocodes - once defined, they can be selected from Account LoV.
Pseudocode is coding entire combination of posting. I am afraid in such a case amount will need to be manually entered, anyway.
