Community,

We are testing ISO20022 ACH payment, and bank feedback is, below highlighted tags turns out in error. removing these tags will fix the issue. but we are not able to find out where they are from?  any experience sharing is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @ronhu ,

I believe this is the Bank Account no in the Cash Account you used when preparing the Payment Order.

Regards,

Akila

@AkilaR Thank you for your reply.

@ronhu  to elaborate more on this..

There are mainly two types of cash accounts, IBAN (International Bank Account Number) and BBAN (Basic Bank Account Number). If the inserted account number is not an IBAN (IBAN number starts with a valid two-digit country code followed by a valid number length), the system inserts the value BBAN to the selected cash account. There are some country-specific cash account types that you can enter via basis data, but this element cannot be omitted.

@Eranda Thank you.

@Eranda The supplier is US supplier, we are trying to go by ACH payment. shall we have to use IBAN? looks like this code is only for European countries?

Scotiabank ask me to remove this tag.

@ronhu  You cannot use the value IBAN since there is no usage of IBAN in USA.

@Eranda understood. thank you.
