There is a requirement to set the "Inverted Quotation When Reference Currency" for both GBP and EUR in customer’s production Cloud instance. hey have had both set in their 7.5 instance for over 10 years without negative effect.

In Cloud, the flag is only set for EUR by default when the company is created. This can be also set for GBP but only via a script. We would like to know if there will be any adverse effect of doing this?

Why script is needed? Is there already currency rate type defined using GBP as reference currency? And currency rates of such currency type used somewhere?

A script was used as by default only EUR is set for Inverted Quotation” and it is not possible to set GBP within the application.

 

@Heshani Vidanapathirana What is the conclusion of this matter? Making currency inverted using the a script does not work and it should not be done, as I understood. Handling the same issue so appreciate if you can share the outcome, thanks !
