Hi,

IFS tells me that this field is mandatory, why?
How can I change it, so it is not mandatory?

I can’t create a invoice because I’m missing data in the column.

Hi,

I’ve loaded countless invoices for many clients.  I don’t recall ever seeing that as a mandatory attribute.

In the Apps 10 IEE client, attributes can be set as mandatory. See the screen properties and see if that attribute was set as mandatory.  If it is, then you can uncheck the box / don’t set as mandatory.

In your screen, I see a box checked for the attribute. I don’t have access to apps 10 right now, and don’t recall if that box is traditionally checked when loading an invoice without an image / file path.  If the image file name (screen properties) is not set as mandatory, then it would appear that due to the data (attachments is checked) IFS may expect a value in the image file.

Best regards,

Thomas

Hello

It is marked with a checkmark in Attachment, does that not say that there is an attachment to the invoice?

If the invoice say that it has an attachment, there might be of need to have a name?

Mandatory is not standard.

Maybe one of your colleagues has set it as mandatory.

If I recall correctly this issue can also occur if you import the supplier invoices as xml and the XML contains something in the invoice attachment tag but not 100% sure
