When I try to print customer statement of accounts ,there is an option to select “ Customer Confirmation Template” (then IFS uses a different template in generating the customer statement of account). Kindly let me know the difference in usage between “Customer Confirmation Statement” and “Customer Statement of Account”

The way I see it is that the Statement of Account is sent monthly and is used for Credit Control and debt chasing purposes.

The Confirmation Statement is something you can send annually as part of your Audit requirements.  When I worked in Industry, I was required by my auditors to send an annual signed and returned ‘confirmation of debt’ letter detailing the outstanding items to a sample of my customers.  I would use the confirmation template for this purpose.
