If we add in a Credit Limit review date, does this affect anything?

 

Do we get any alerts to review or does it affect orders etc?

you have to setup the message groups, assign credit analysts to the customer and ensure the notification events are enabled. once all this done, you can then receive notifications / alerts when credit limit review date arrives.

also, it does not affect orders or credit checking, it is just for house-keeping of the customer credit limits.
