On the New Voucher screen in IFS Cloud, when new lines (rows) are added and saved, they are automatically re-ordered (re-sorted) in a way that appears random.  Does anyone know the rationale behind this auto-sorting?  Is there a way to have the rows be sorted in the order that they were entered?  It causes efficiency loss due to having to scroll and search for the appropriate row(s), when certain rows require editing.

@jcohrs looking at this with Page Designer, I noticed the New Voucher Assistant has an order by RowNo:

If needed you could easily remove that sorting and add a new one based on whatever field you want. In the below example I added a sorting absed on Account:

Hi,

Marcel great idea.

In thinking about this, I wonder if the external voucher process may be easier when you have that many voucher rows.  Typically, we set up a new external voucher template to match the needs and use that template.   External voucher only takes a few minutes to set up. The idea is you use excel for large entries and load that into IFS.

A good use for external vouchers would be to load a payroll file. Those entries are commonly large.

Just a thought / way that make help.

Best regards,

Thomas

Thank you both!  I do not personally have access to use the Page Designer, so I had my IT coworker make the change suggested, and it seems to be a good fix for us.  Our team does use the external voucher process for our very large vouchers, especially payroll, so thank you for that suggestion as well.
