We were trying to use the REST API to create/update person records, but are having some difficulties in the updating. 

According to the documentation of Odata/docs (swagger), to create a person you need to do a Post and in order to update the record you need to do a PATCH and pass the person_id in the url. However when we try to update using the guidelines provided in the documentation we receive an error - “Bad Request - Error in query syntax”. 

Has anyone ever got this error? Or does anyone know if we are missing something? We have used the same logic for updating a person_cal_except with success.

Hi @joana.m.machado,

Are you able to provide details of what you are sending when you test this as this would assist in determining why it errored.

The FSM metadata should show you what FSM is expecting for the update.
