Hello all,

 

If we have a custom table in FSM with thousands of records. These records don’t have access group.

Now, i want to create the access group for the same custom table automatically populate the access group field for the new records.

Regarding the old records, i want to run an update to populate their access_groups.

 

The question is “Do i need to recreate the entire table for FSM to assume that i have the Access Group field and start restricting the records based on the field? Or i just need to make sure that all the records (new and old ones) have the field populated.”

I have FSM Update 16.

Hi @ZRZCOELHDAN,

Does the table have the access_group field? If so you should be able to just update the records so they have a valid value.

Otherwise you should be able to add the new field to the existing table, just remember to also create the metadata in FSM for the field as well.
