While importing mobile design often times I get server timeout error:

“The server has not responded in the past minute. Click OK and verify that the operation has completed. If this message reappears, contact your administrator.”

The xml file only has 2 designs.

Is there any way to avoid the timeout?

Hi @JuniSihombing ,

You can increase the client time out app param value to extend the client session. By default, it is setup for 1 minute (60 seconds)

Hi Saranga @SAMLK ,

I have put the app-param to 300 (5minutes), but still got the error.

@JuniSihombing

I believe that the 2 mobile designs are heavily configured. :) I had the similar issue sometimes back and I was forced to increase the app param setting more than 400s because of the same issue. Then reverted it back to 60s after the process was finished.

Not quite sure whether you have access to this.

Hi Saranga @SAMLK ,

Unfortunately I am not able to access the post as it’s intended to IFS employees and partner.

Was the solution of that post to increase the app-params?

Could you help posting the issue and solution here?

Thanks in advance,

~Juni

Hi Yes @JuniSihombing it was to increase the value for the app param

Thank you.

I’ll try to put to very high number next time.

Currently we have removed the non-default design, as it’s not used.

The xml file is smaller now, and it was successfully imported to other environment.

Hi @JuniSihombing

If there are any old revisions, I would recommend removing them as well.

You might have only 2 designs but with multiple revisions which might cause the same issue.

Cheers!

Hi @Shneor Cheshin,

thank you for the suggestion.

This default design has only 1 revision.

I will put your suggestion into consideration in the future.

Cheers,

~Juni
