Hi, using apps 10 and looking at the resource analysis screen to review available capacity in a work centre and noticed there are two capacity lines 1) capacity unitisation and 2) adjusted capacity.

can anyone explain the difference and how to adjust each capacity line?

The adjusted capacity fields can be adjusted by using the fields as in the printscreens below.

 

This allows the company for example to leave capacity for picking up unplanned work when you standard plan on 90%.

This might help in your quest for documentation.

 

@MR10 should the capacity line automatically change once i have changed the figure in the ‘Adjustment %’ Tab or do i need to recalculate the capacity once o have made the changes?

You should recalculate afterwards, typically you plan this as a schedule database task once a day or something.
