Hello Community,

Is there a list/document that gives a good baseline functionality per role?

For example, 

A planner, WebClient user should have the following menu items available

  • Request
  • Task
  • Calendar Exceptions
  • reports
  • Lobby
  • etc

An admin, WebClient user should have the following menu items available

  • All planner
  • Admin menu
  • etc.

Any reference?

As FSM is used across a wide range of industries and even within those industries, business practices can be very different, there is no standard definition of what a role would entail.

This would be up to the customer and their business needs to determine. It may be easier to look at it from the perspective of “What does this user not require?” or “What must this user not have access to?” than “What do they need to see?”. That way you can work to only exclude areas confirmed to be not required and ensure that all relevant areas remain.

Similar kind of a request (may be not exactly what you are looking for) was made sometimes back, I will share that document to you internally as this was a customer specific document. Hope that would help at least in some way.
