Manage serial structure

Hi Dears, 

this error appears to me while trying to add the serial number in the Manage Serial Structure line 

and the below screenshot shows that the part is in the inventory 

So how can we solve this issue?

The part should be issued before it is added the the structure

Hi @DareenAhmed 

As explained by @mmoss   and as clearly indicated by the error , please create an MR for the part , in the work order, under which this part is being installed / replaced etc .

 

Any replacement for a part from an inventory location, should happen via a valid material request and issue transaction, and not a direct installation
