In FSM Mobile how  to configure the mobile db to shared NAS Drive?

In FSM, Mobile_Database_Directory is set to the server default path like ‘C/inetpub/wwwroot/xxxx/mobiledb’ .

Is it possible to set the Mobile_Database_Directory to the NAS drive mapped to the server. So the user db will be created in the Nas drive.?

Hi @TatKhandM,

You should be able to do this by setting up a virtual folder location in IIS manager that points to the NAS drive.

You then need to use the UNC path for the virtual folder that points to the NAS

Please note that there is an issue prior to FSM6.7 that causes the database to not be compressed when using this setup so this should only be done on latest version.

Kind regards,
