Hi all,

We select a "Sales Part", which comes from "Non-Inventory Sales Part", when we create a "New Contract Line" with turning on "Invoice Plan". 
On the other hand, a "Non-Inventory Sales Part" has "Cost" value as in the below capture.

 

How do the cost of a "Sales Part" on "Contract Line" influence "Request Contracts"?
I guess that the selecting a "Sales Part" is only for getting price and the cost value is ignored.
Is it correct?
Or does the cost reflect to invoice data?
Please let me know how the cost influences "Request Contract".

​@HYasuno I think this has no impact in the Request Contract.

However, in the Service Contract, the cost can be seen in → Analysis → there you can see the profitability of the Service Contract. MAybe this is something that will be developed for REquest Contract as well.

The Cost value on the non-inventory sales part is “used when delivering the non-inventory sales part unless the deliver transaction refers to a direct delivery where the price from the connected purchase order line will apply”.

The use of the sales part in the Request Contract is to get the price when invoicing.

You will probably like to see that in 24R2 we have the same capability on the Request Contract, too. 😁

I used 24R2 and I found the Analysis command on Request Contract. 
And the cost of Sales Part on Contract Line is not recognized as the cost of its Contract in the Analysis for Request Contract.

On the other hand, I found the cost at a Customer Order created by invoicing a Request Contract. The cost of Sales Part on Contract Line is registered and used for calculating "Total Contribution Margin/Base".
