Hi Experts, I'm getting the following error while doing a PSO reconfiguration process.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening? When I try to log in to the database using the ifs password we have, it works fine.

Hi Ashen,

did you create a custom database server password for the admin user at time of initial installation? In earlier releases you couldn’t set the password for the “ifs” admin db user but this was changed since couple releases. Eventually the configured password isn’t matching anymore?

As a workaround, you can try to import the license file through the Administration Workspace using the Import Data function.

Hi @roklde As far as I recall, I created the database separately and referenced it during the initial installation. As a result, we are currently unable to perform any reconfiguration for any tasks. Is there a way to resolve this issue?

Hi Ashen,

you need to create a new DB Server through the PSO Installer or select an existing DB Server, which was deployed earlier with the PSO Installer. Otherwise you can face this kind of issue you are facing now. See also Installation Guide:

@roklde If we proceed to create a new database server using the PSO installer, what would be the best method to copy the data from the original database?

Are you currently able to login into the PSO Workbench? There is a Import/Export function provided inside the Installer and in the PSO Workbench. This should work for exporting system, modelling, scheduling and simulation data. You could setup new DBs and then import the exported data. Afterwards you would need to initiate a new load from the Source system.

@roklde Thank you for the guidance. I will look into it and check further.
