Hi Team,

 

We would like to set Time Horizon to 10 days as the customer requirement is to have immediate dispatch. Would like to understand the time horizon value limit and does it impact performance if set for long time.

Obviously the overhead to Dispatch service will be higher, but I don’t think it is noticeable. You will need to set “ShiftsInFuture” rule parameter as well to match the requirement (which is introduced in 6.9).

What is the max and suggested value that can be set for ShiftsInFuture in this case of long time horizon. If I understand correctly , does default value ‘0’ means no shifts in future? 

Please advise.
