Hello all,

I have two questions/problems I need help with if possible.

  • Is it possible to create an admin broadcast that only broadcasts when you get an error for a specific application/service such as the broadcast manager?
  • Can the admin broadcasts frequency be controlled so that they're sent every 5 minutes for e.g? Because I can't see a way to do that.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks.

I found an answer to this:

We can set admin broadcasts to trigger only when an error reported in a service. But it will send the complete set of event. We cannot broadcast only the error. It is just the triggering point.

I believe we cannot set a frequency there. But there is a System REST endpoint to retrieve events. You can call it every 5 minutes. You can set the event severity as a endpoint parameter.

If anyone has anything they’d like to add, feel free.

@Callum I believe you are aware of the documentation available in the PSO Administration Guide?

Best regards

Hi Roman,

Yes, I am. I’ve had a look and couldn’t see anything to help with this specifically. I did see related topics around Admin Broadcasts, however.

Kind regards,

Callum
