Hi,

In request management Request , Request contract, it always use SEO order type for invoicing irrespective of Customer order type or  Request contract type connected order type.  Is there a way to change the customer order type in the created customer order?

Hi,

The customer order type will always be set as SEO.

Can you provide some details on the scenario where you are looking to use another order type?

@ajnsse no idea about @INTHSL ‘s scenario, but I also think it would be a good idea to have some basic data to control this. Something similar to what we have for Service Contract where you can control the Order Type being used for invoicing in the Contract Type page:

Customer is in water treatment industry, where he uses request contract for different purposes ex: Renting purification equipment and getting recurring payments , recurring services for delivering water bottles etc, where the customer wants to differentiate  his profit with Order type by defining different contract types with zero stops and setting different postings for those. Is there any work around you can suggest? because customer order is  always getting the source as Service order and activity type also common in most of the cases.

@INTHSL Unfortunately there is no workaround at the moment. However, this will be considered in a future release.

I understand that you'd like to use the Order Type associated with the Contract Type when the Invoice is created directly from the Request Contract. Could you please create an Idea for this, so the product management team can evaluate it for a future release?

Additionally, could you provide more details about how you're using the Activity Type?
