The transmittal function does not show to have any updated functionality in the coming updates. At this time the transmittal function shows it is being both "created and sent" as an email, but no actual email is being created or sent.
What is the plan?
from23R2 track onwards, for transmittals where the transmittal direction is OUT and the Distribution Method is E-mail, if you click Send command from the Transmittal page an e-mail with attached documents will be launched.
If you need to attach the transmittal report as well to the e-mail. First you need select the Connect report to transmittal option in the Manage Transmittal assistant and finish the dialog. You can launch this assistant from the Transmittal page itself. Then report will be attached in Transmittal\Reports tab.
