We have a client request when attaching documents, they should not be visible in other screens but when you are connecting objects to a document revision, the connection is made to the object LU.

Is there a way to limit access to one window?

For example, they need absence related documentation to be accessed in Employee file, personal tab but LU ‘pers’ lets you access the documents if you are in the ‘personal files’ overview screen as well.

Any way to limit access?

Thank you,

Hi,

No, you cannot hide attached documents in some screens and not in others.

I don't understand why the screen is important, can you explain?

In my view, if a document is connected to a certain object (and employee, in this case) and the user can see the object, why should they not be able to see the document on all screens that shows the object? It does not make any sense to me.

Perhaps they should enable Restricted Access on these documents? That will make them invisible for anyone that does not have at least View access to it. If this is new to you, look it up in the functional/process documentation.

Good luck!

Any updates to this?
