In the document-revision mask there is a check-box ‘structure’.

The helb says about this feature:

Selecting this checkbox means that the documents that form this structure can be checked in/out or viewed in the same operation. A document structure can be useful when a document consists of other documents, e. g. if a drawing has multiple subdrawings connected to it.

When testing that feature with the IEE it works as described.

In Aurena there is no action on check-out and check-in visible.

Is that a bug?

Hello,  I agree with your observation in Aurena client. However, this is a documented limitation in Aurena. Please refer the Release Notes for the respective release.

Hi,

This is a limitation in Aurena right now. We have no current plans to add full support for "structure documents" in Aurena.

You can probably create a structure document manually, by creating the parent and sub documents and then connecting them together. But you will not be able to do easy view, check in and check out of the whole structure as you could in IEE.

If and when we add support for this in IFS Cloud, we will inform about it.

If you like, add an idea here on IFS Community for adding this back. We want to know if customers would like this feature again, and also for what purposes.

Thanks!
