Hi.  Is it possible to make the inventory non-nettable while waiting for the transport task to be completed.  We’re currently using transport tasks to transfer materials to a different location within our instance, but we’re finding it shows up in the in-transit qty category, and is viewed as available inventory ahead of it’s actual arrival to the site.  Similarly, the receiving site isn’t able to see that supply coming in within MRP.

Are both of those options not applicable while using the transport task function?

@carp1095  when using transport tasks, the stock will be seen as in-transit until the Transport Task is closed. In IFS Cloud 22R1 there’s a nice functionality → Shipment Order which could be used for inter-site transactions and it’s doing exactly what you would need.

Since you’re in Apps10, if you are doing multisite planning, you could create a planning network and include the 2 sites. This way the MRP will consider the supply/demand in both sites and create a Distribution Order to fulfill demand from one site with supply from the 2nd site if available.
