Hi All,

I want to know the steps required for refilling the Remote Warehouse using Refill Source as Purchase Requisition so that PR gets automatically created.

Screenshots will be really helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,

Rakesh

Hi @Rakesh,

I think you can refer the product documentation http://clouddocs/ifsdoc/Greenhouse/Documentation/en// for in depth understanding.

However, I have done a simple scenario in 23R1 cloud environment and the snaps are as follows.

I think you would be able to get a basic understanding referring the below snaps.

Create a remote warehouse as follows.

Then define inventory parts of type purchase and the relevant supplier for purchase part records in the site as well.

Define a storage zone with your remote warehouse as follows.

Then define the putaway zone basic data for your site using the above storage zone created.

Then create a remote warehouse assortment for your part stating the refill point qty and the refill to qty and be sure to state the refill source as purchase requisition given that you want to create PRs to refill the putaway zones.

Once those settings are in place, your remote warehouse would be updated as follows with the part and assortment details. You can then run the refill all putaway zones job using the button in the header.

Note that the refill job can be scheduled if you want. You may automate the flow as you want. If you tick the use assortment part toggle, only assortment parts will be refilled.

Then a background job would be generated and it should be in ready state.

Then if you check the remote warehouse, you would be able to see the purchase requisition lines button displayed. Click on it and navigate to the created PRs.

Generated PRs would have the qty same as the refill to qty from the assortment.

For additional settings to suit your requirement and for automatic putaway zone logics, please refer the documentation.

Hi @Thilini Wijesinghe

Thank you so much :)

Hi @Thilini Wijesinghe ,

I am not able to open the link.

If possible, can you attach the doc here?

Thanks,

Rakehs

Hi @Rakesh,

If you navigate to the product documentation option from your application, and search for inventory putaway, you would be able to see the information.

I have attached by copying the same into attachments.

Hi @Thilini Wijesinghe

Customer has changed its requirement for refilling the Remote Warehouse. Now they want to use Refill Source as “Shipment Order”.

I tried with the scenario you mentioned in screenshots, by changing Refill Source as “Shipment Order” but it is not working.

Do I need to do any additional basic data set up ??

Screenshots will be really helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,

Rakesh

Hi @Piyal Perera

Please find below my requirement :

Let’s say we have two Sites in the same Company. Site A and Site B.
The central warehouse for the company is located on Site A.
Site B does not have a central warehouse, but it has several Remote Warehouses in various locations.

How to use Remote Warehouse Assortment functionality here having refill source as “Shipment Order” so that its create a Shipment Order from Site A to a Remote Warehouse on Site B?

I am using version IFS Cloud 23R2.

Screenshots will be really helpful.

Best Regards,

Rakesh
